Check permissions by entering as a member
View the panel under a member’s profile and return to your account afterwards.
Before you start
- Be the account owner or a platform administrator.
- The member must already have an email and a login.
Step by step
In Team > Members, open More actions on the person’s row and choose Enter as.
Check the name in the confirmation and click Enter.
Look for the purple banner and review the pages and numbers available to that member.
When finished, click Leave this account in the purple banner. Check your own name and email before continuing.
Check your result
You review the delegated profile and return to your account.
What you need to know
- Team managers do not have this option.
- Actions in this mode can change real data; use viewing actions when checking permissions.
- My account does not allow password or 2FA changes while you are entering as someone else.
- You can cancel the confirmation before entering. If a subscription block appears during the review, use Leave this account in the purple banner or the return option on the block itself, then check the restored identity.
