Generate a named MCP token

Create a separate credential for a client or integration.

Before you start

  • Sign in as the account owner or a platform administrator. The management screen rejects team members.
  • Have access permitted by the account and subscription state.

Step by step

  1. In MCP Server > Tokens (optional), click New token.

  2. Enter a Token name of up to one hundred characters identifying its use.

  3. Click Generate and review the Token generated dialog.

  4. Copy and store the value before closing.

Check your result

A new token is created when the operation succeeds.

What you need to know

  • An account may have up to ten active tokens. The screen offers only a name, with no expiry or per-token permission selector.
  • Tokens created through this form have no configured expiry. Revoke tokens that are no longer needed.
  • Canceling the form before generation does not create a token.
