Select which events a webhook receives
Choose the update types forwarded to the destination.
Before you start
- Have write access to Webhooks and an available instance.
Step by step
In the form, click events to select or clear them.
Use messages.upsert for messages, message.receipt for receipts, groups.update for groups, presence.update or chat.presence for presence, connection.update for connection changes and call for calls.
When creating, leave the selection empty to receive all available events.
Save and check the events displayed on the card.
Check your result
The webhook receives events eligible under its settings.
What you need to know
- There is an edit limitation: clearing all selections omits the submitted field and preserves the old filter. Do not treat this as a confirmed switch to all events.
- Selecting an event does not guarantee every channel produces it. The list does not configure the receiving system’s behavior.
