Connect a custom client with a token

Use an MCP credential when the client lacks an OAuth path.

Before you start

  • Sign in as the account owner or a platform administrator. The management screen rejects team members.
  • Have access permitted by the account and subscription state.

Step by step

  1. Expand Other ways / custom setup and choose Custom (token).

  2. Generate a dedicated token, copy it and store it before closing.

  3. Copy the block’s URL, HTTP (Streamable) and Bearer details; replace SEU_TOKEN_AQUI only in the authorized client.

  4. Check the connection with a read-only query.

Check your result

The client can authenticate using the provided MCP token.

What you need to know

  • An MCP token differs from the account API key and panel login.
  • Do not put the secret in public code, screenshots or help-center examples.
