Use the Claude Desktop file configuration

Find the alternative template that uses an MCP token.

Before you start

  • Sign in as the account owner or a platform administrator. The management screen rejects team members.
  • Have access permitted by the account and subscription state.

Step by step

  1. Expand Other ways / custom setup and choose Claude Desktop (file).

  2. Generate a dedicated MCP token and copy it before closing the creation dialog.

  3. Copy the displayed configuration block; replace SEU_TOKEN_AQUI in the client’s private configuration file according to the guide.

  4. Restart the client and check the connection with a read-only query.

Check your result

The client can connect with valid settings and token.

What you need to know

  • The block uses a bridge run through Node/npx. Check requirements for the version in use; this path is unnecessary when the client already supports the OAuth connector.
  • Use an identifiable token so that only this installation can be revoked later.
