Set permissions and community mode during creation

Step by step

   In the form, enable Only admins send to start the group with restricted messaging.

   Enable Make everyone admin only if you intend to promote the included participants.

   To create a community, enable Create as community and review the displayed note.

4. 4

   After creation, check participants, administrators and any warnings.

What you need to know

• A community includes the announcement group created by WhatsApp. The implementation attempts to add and promote participants in that announcement group; it does not build multiple subgroups here.
• Promotion may generate a partial warning. Only admins send includes everyone who becomes an administrator, including promoted participants.
