Get, copy and renew a group invitation

Step by step

   Open the group in Information and find Invite link.

   Select Get link and copy the displayed URL.

   Use Update link to retrieve the current invitation again.

   Only when you intend to invalidate the old invitation, select Revoke and generate new.

   Copy the new invitation and update places where the old one was shared.

What you need to know

• Revoke runs directly, without an additional confirmation on this screen. Old links cease to be the valid invitation when WhatsApp accepts the change.
• If the group is part of a distribution link, also update its saved invitation in Group links.
