Understand and use group deletion in the manager
The system requests member removal and leaving in the selected groups.
Before you start
- A connected QR WhatsApp number, access to the group and permissions required for the action.
Step by step
In Leave groups, select only the groups you intend to close.
Enable delete mode and review the warning: the flow attempts to remove participants before leaving.
Review the selection and confirm the two-step action, or cancel.
Keep the page open and check every result, including possible partial effects.

The system requests member removal and leaving in the selected groups.
What you need to know
- This action affects other participants and has no restore option on this screen. It does not merely hide a group from the list.
- For communities, the backend attempts to close subgroups before deactivating the community. Subgroup failures may only be logged while the community is still deactivated.
- There is no guarantee of removing history already present on participants' devices.
