Create a link that distributes visitors across groups

A public address is created to redirect visitors to registered invitations.

Step by step

  1. Open Group links and select New link.

  2. Enter a name and, optionally, a custom short address in the slug field.

  3. Add at least one valid group invitation beginning with https://chat.whatsapp.com/.

  4. Review capacity, strategy and destinations; choose a connection if you want to link one.

  5. If you do not want to create the link yet, use Cancelar (Cancel) or close the dialog; the data is not saved.

  6. Save and copy the public address shown in the list.

Check your result

A public address is created to redirect visitors to registered invitations.

What you need to know

  • The distribution link does not create groups or automatically add participants. Visitors receive a WhatsApp invitation.
  • The slug is defined at creation, normalized to lowercase letters, digits and hyphens, and limited to 64 characters; an already-used slug is rejected. Empty generates an automatic address.
  • Creation saves the link as active. Active state can be changed later while editing.
