Set who can send messages and edit group information

Step by step

   Open the group in Information and find Settings.

   Set Only administrators send messages to the intended value.

3. 3

   Set Only administrators edit information if you want to restrict changes to group details.

4. 4

   Select Save settings and check the feedback and state in WhatsApp.

What you need to know

• The selectors start unchecked without loading the actual WhatsApp values. They represent values to send, not a reliable reading of the current state.
• To explicitly send Off for an untouched option, check and uncheck it before saving. Only touched options are included.
