Understand the group removal selection defect

You avoid interpreting visual selection as the operation's actual scope.

Step by step

  1. When opening Remove, treat search as a lookup of found groups.

  2. Do not rely on unchecking boxes to protect groups from removal: these choices are not sent to the server.

  3. Use Information to remove from a specific group and check participants afterward.

What you need to know

  • This tab's button calls an action across all groups where the number appears and the connection is an administrator. This is an integration defect between screen and backend, not a functional selection.
  • The inventory records checkboxes and the existing button for coverage, but this article does not instruct execution with selective scope.
