Create or edit a segment
Segment rules are saved for later use.
Before you start
- Use an account with Email Marketing enabled and access to the records. Changes require write permission.
Step by step
Open Segments and click New segment, or edit an existing one with the pencil.
Enter Segment name and Description (optional).
Configure conditions and review the preview.
Click Create or Save as shown.
Check your result
Segment rules are saved for later use.
What you need to know
- Segments are dynamic: membership changes with contact data.
- With no conditions, the backend matches all account contacts even though the editor preview is blank.
- Cancel closes the dialog without running its confirmation. When reopening it, review the fields: local draft values may remain.
