Configure Google conversions by phone
The action name and phone-based sending preference are saved.
Before you start
- An account with Tracking access and a visible WhatsApp instance. Settings require owner/admin role and the tracking-configuration feature.
Step by step
Under Google conversions by phone number, enter the conversion action name exactly as it appears in the account.
Enable sending by phone when gclid is missing if the feature is enabled for your operation.
Click Save and check the confirmation.
Check your result
The action name and phone-based sending preference are saved.
What you need to know
- The switch requires the conversoes_google_leads feature; the name can also appear for accounts with CSV export.
- Google Ads must have enhanced conversions for leads enabled and customer-data terms accepted. Configuring this page does not enable those conditions in Google.
- To stop new phone-based sends without a gclid, switch Send by phone number when there is no gclid off and click Save. This does not undo previous sends.
