Prepare a story from the account feed
The available post media enters the story composer.
Before you start
- A connected Instagram account, enabled instagram_posts feature and access to the posting page. Final acceptance depends on Meta permissions and API.
Step by step
Under Posts, click Repost a feed post to story.
Choose the publication in the picker.
Review the loaded media and confirm publishing or scheduling only when ready.

The available post media enters the story composer.
What you need to know
- Instagram media URLs may expire; avoid scheduling the repost far ahead.
- If only a thumbnail is available, the composition uses that image. This does not promise a tappable share card or all carousel media.
- The feed list uses a route protected by the automacoes feature; the account may need that access in addition to posting.
- Close the picker with X if you do not want to choose a post; this does not publish a story.
