Connect Meta to read advertising data
The connection requests access to ad names and data.
Before you start
- An account with Tracking access and a visible WhatsApp instance. Settings require owner/admin role and the tracking-configuration feature.
Step by step
Under Settings, click Connect with Meta or Reconnect.
Authorize with a profile that has access to the ad accounts and accept the requested permissions.
On return, check the connection state and select the relevant ad accounts.

The connection requests access to ad names and data.
What you need to know
- Reading depends on ads_read. Connecting ads does not automatically replace all CAPI settings.
- Denied or removed permissions and inaccessible accounts can prevent data access.
