Prepare a story from a publication record
The record first media item becomes a new story composition.
Before you start
- A connected Instagram account, enabled instagram_posts feature and access to the posting page. Final acceptance depends on Meta permissions and API.
Step by step
In the list, click Repost to story on the desired record.
Review the media loaded into the composer as Story.
Set When to publish if desired, then review before Publish now or Schedule.
Check your result
The record first media item becomes a new story composition.
What you need to know
- Reposting only prepares the form; publication still needs confirmation.
- The story uses full-screen media without the app tappable card. For carousels, only the first media item is used.
