Configure an advertising token manually
The token is submitted for server validation and saving.
Before you start
- An account with Tracking access and a visible WhatsApp instance. Settings require owner/admin role and the tracking-configuration feature.
Step by step
In CAPI settings, find the optional advertising token (ads_read).
Paste a credential authorized to read the required accounts.
Click Save CAPI Configuration and check account and advertising data afterward.
Check your result
The token is submitted for server validation and saving.
What you need to know
- Without a separate advertising token, the integration can use the CAPI Access Token.
- The server may reject a token without ads_read, but current save feedback can incorrectly show success; verify the result.
- Leave the Ads Token blank to preserve the saved credential; the form does not display the existing token.
