Change the WhatsApp About text
Update the About text for a QR-connected number.
Before you start
- Have a QR-connected WhatsApp number and permission to change it.
Step by step
Open Settings > Profile and select the instance.
Enter the desired text in Status (About). Leave Profile name empty if you want to keep the name.
Save and check the About text in WhatsApp.
Check your result
The About text updates when WhatsApp accepts the operation.
What you need to know
- This is the profile’s About text, not a photo or video Status post.
- Leaving the field blank does not erase the About text through this form; empty fields are not submitted.
- Verify the result in WhatsApp because the local success indicator does not check each server response.
