Open renewal or dismiss an expiry notice
Understand subscription notices without confusing dismissal with renewing access.
Before you start
- Be signed in through a browser and receive an account expiry notice.
Step by step
Read the date and expiry information shown in the notice.
When Renew subscription appears, click it to open Subscription and check the account status before choosing a payment action.
To close the advance notice without starting a purchase, use Remind me later.
On the smaller expiry notice, use Dismiss this notice for now to continue on the current page.
If access is already blocked, follow the displayed instructions to regularize the account or contact support. If you are impersonating someone else, leave that mode to return to your account.
Check your result
You open the subscription page or close a dismissible notice. None of these clicks completes a payment on its own.
What you need to know
- Closing a notice does not change the expiry date, cancel the subscription or remove an existing block.
- Timing and presentation depend on account settings. The advance notice is normally limited to once a day in this browser; when impersonating, it may appear on each reload.
- Billing notices are not presented the same way in the iOS app; an access block may still appear. Review the account in your browser.
