Choose the provider and model that reply
Configure the actual response source in the AI Provider card.
Before you start
- Use the panel as a platform administrator; the AI Agents list redirects other profiles.
- Have an existing agent.
Step by step
Open the agent > Configuration > AI Provider.
Choose Platform default to use server settings, or select the desired provider.
For a specific provider, enter the model in the provider field; leaving it empty uses that provider’s default when available.
Configure the required credential, save and use the Test tab.
Check your result
The engine uses the configured provider and its effective model.
What you need to know
- The model selector in Identity saves a different field and is not the field the current engine uses to select its model.
- A model name displayed in a list does not prove provider availability or account access.
