Save or replace an agent’s provider key
Configure the agent credential on the server.
Before you start
- Use the panel as a platform administrator; the AI Agents list redirects other profiles.
- Have an existing agent.
Step by step
Open Configuration > AI Provider and choose an API provider.
Enter the key in the protected field. A mask indicates an existing saved key.
Save and use Test to check the configuration.
Check your result
The submitted key becomes part of the agent configuration when saved.
What you need to know
- Leaving the field blank preserves the previous key. The screen has no explicit control to erase it.
- Browser-local keys in Settings > AI belong to a different flow and do not replace this field.
