Test agent replies without messaging customers
Talk to the agent in the simulation tab.
Before you start
- Use the panel as a platform administrator; the AI Agents list redirects other profiles.
- Have an existing agent.
Step by step
Save the settings you want to test and open Test.
Type a question and send it with the button or Enter.
Read the reply and continue with representative follow-up questions.
If a provider error appears, review the model and credential before retrying.
Check your result
The tab displays the generated test reply.
What you need to know
- The test calls a real model and may consume provider usage, but does not message customers.
- It uses the saved agent, not unsaved form changes.
- The test does not independently reproduce working hours, greetings, sending, routing or every real-conversation state. Up to twenty earlier messages are sent as context.
