Distinguish the Coming soon API channel from the platform API

This card’s key and webhook do not replace the account API configuration.

Before you start

  • Have access to Channels. Editing records requires a role other than read-only.

Step by step

  1. Under Create Channel > API, read the example key and locate Webhook URL. This field provides an address for the record, but the Coming soon flow does not activate the integration.

  2. If an API channel already exists, its pencil shows API Key with a button to copy the text, and lets you edit Webhook URL.

  3. Save updates the existing record; reopen it to check. Cancel leaves without saving. See the Coming soon steps guide to go back or close the new-channel form.

  4. To use the platform API, follow the API and account-credentials guides under Integrations.

Check your result

This card’s key and webhook do not replace the account API configuration.

What you need to know

  • These options are marked Coming soon. The current flow does not complete a new connection. Do not use real credentials to try to enable the integration through this form; ask support about availability.
  • The copied text may only be an identifier displayed by the card; do not treat it as a valid credential. Saving Webhook URL here does not prove event delivery.
