Delete an instance and its linked data

Step by step

   Open Instances and check the card’s name and phone number.

   Click Delete.

   Read Confirm deletion and the linked-data warning.

   Confirm Delete only if those records need not be retained; choose Cancel to stop.

   From details, you can also open Settings > Delete instance. To dismiss confirmation without deleting, select Cancel, use X, press Escape or click outside it.

What you need to know

• The warning includes conversations, contacts, pipeline deals, trackable links, tracking and automations. This screen has no undo.
• When deleting from details, the screen returns to Instances even if the API response reports an error. Check that the instance actually disappeared before treating deletion as complete.
• In the Instances list, confirmation may also close after an error response. Check removal in the refreshed list before treating the action as complete.
