Request a historical media download
The server attempts to store historical media still available.
Before you start
- Sign in with access to the page and number. Changes require a role other than read-only.
- Administrator access.
Step by step
As an admin, open Keep media and configure types and conversations.
Click Save before starting the history download.
Under Download history now, click Download.
Monitor counts for downloaded, already saved, expired and failed files.
Check your result
The server attempts to store historical media still available.
What you need to know
- Download uses the saved configuration. Not every old file remains available at Meta.
- Files are stored on the OneWhats server; this button does not download a ZIP to your computer.
- Only one download per instance runs at a time. Progress updates while the task runs. Closing the dialog does not cancel the download; reopen to check its result. There is no cancel-download button on this screen.
