Enable private-message and comment notifications
You configure private-message and comment notices separately.
Before you start
- Sign in with access to the page and number. Changes require a role other than read-only.
Step by step
In Channels, open the Instagram or Facebook card’s bell.
Toggle Notify private messages for direct messages.
Toggle Notify comments for post comments.
Switches save when changed; close the dialog when finished.
Use X, Escape or click outside to close. Reopen the bell to check preferences, especially if a change does not persist.

You configure private-message and comment notices separately.
What you need to know
- Notification delivery also depends on browser/device permissions.
- Preferences belong to the connection, not just this browser. Closing the dialog does not undo switches already changed. Some save errors are not displayed.
