Reconnect an instance using QR
The session reconnects when pairing completes.
Before you start
- Sign in with access to the page and instance. Changes require a role other than read-only.
Step by step
Open Instances and the number’s Settings gear.
On Status, click Connect via QR Code when disconnected.
Scan the QR from the number’s WhatsApp under Linked devices.
If the code expires, use the displayed regenerate action and wait for Connected.
If Connection lost or another error appears in the QR area, select Retry. Wait for the new code before scanning.
Check your result
The session reconnects when pairing completes.
What you need to know
- Do not use this path for Cloud API. An already-paired session may resume without replacing the session.
- When opening Status for a disconnected QR instance, pairing may start automatically. Connect via QR Code shows the same area.
