Configure a QR connection’s proxy

Before you start
- Sign in with access to the page and number. Changes require a role other than read-only.
Step by step
Open Settings in the QR instance’s details.
Under Proxy (optional), enter the proxy URL supplied by your network administrator.
Review the credentials and click Save proxy.
Read the result and check the connection status.

What you need to know
- The form supports socks5, http and https. A connected instance is reconnected to apply the change.
- A proxy does not guarantee immunity from WhatsApp restrictions.
- Saving the address does not prove the proxy works. Reconnection can fail without invalidating the saved setting; check the connection.
