Enable or disable the lead typing indicator
The number’s presence preference is changed.
Before you start
- Sign in with access to the page and instance. Changes require a role other than read-only.
Step by step
In Instances, locate a WhatsApp QR number’s card.
Use the button whose tooltip describes showing the lead’s typing indicator.
Read the information about appearing online and sending read receipts.
If a warming warning appears, confirm only if you accept the change; click again to disable.
In the warming warning, Cancel, X, Escape or clicking outside leaves the option off. Confirm Enable anyway only to apply the change.
Check your result
The number’s presence preference is changed.

- Not available for Cloud API. Enabling also changes online presence and read receipts.
