Review a legacy Email channel record
The editor for an existing record lets you review server and user fields.
Before you start
- Have access to Channels. Editing records requires a role other than read-only.
Step by step
If the Channels list already contains an Email card, open its pencil.
Review IMAP Host and its port, SMTP Host and its port, plus User. Change only the record data you intend to correct.
This editor has no password, encryption or test-send controls. Use Save to update and reopen it to check; Cancel leaves without saving.
For the current email module, the Email card under Create Channel is an administrator shortcut; it does not open the legacy creation form.
