Start creating a group from a contact
The Groups page opens with the contact context.
Step by step
Open an individual conversation on a QR-connected WhatsApp number.
In Chat, select the contact's name in the header; in Hub, open the details panel.
Select Create group to open Groups with the number and contact prefilled.
Review the participants and complete creation on the Groups page.
Check your result
The Groups page opens with the contact context.
What you need to know
- The contact must have a resolved phone number. This option is unavailable for the official API or social channels.
