Mention a participant or everyone in a group
The message includes the selected group mentions.
Before you start
- A group conversation on a QR-based WhatsApp connection.
Step by step
Open a WhatsApp group conversation in Chat or Hub.
Type @ and find the participant by name or number.
Choose the participant, or mention everyone if that is your intention.
On a keyboard, use arrows to navigate, Enter or Tab to select and Esc to close suggestions.
Review the mentions in the draft and send the message.
Check your result
The message includes the selected group mentions.
What you need to know
- Mentioning everyone may notify the whole group. Remove the everyone selection if you do not want this.
- Autocomplete depends on loaded participants and does not apply to an individual conversation.
