Open a story mention in the Instagram composer

Step by step

   Open a story mention message that shows the repost button.

2. 2

   Select Repost to load the media into the Instagram composer.

3. 3

   Review the media and destination account in the composer before deciding to publish.

What you need to know

• The original URL may expire even while its preview remains visible in Hub.
• This flow uses the media as the account's story. It does not reproduce the clickable card and mention sticker of a repost made in the Instagram app.
