Delete a sent message for everyone

Step by step

   Open the menu of a message you sent.

   Choose Delete for everyone and review the confirmation.

3. 3

   Confirm to request deletion, or cancel to keep the message.

4. 4

   Check history to see whether the message is marked as deleted.

What you need to know

• The reviewed flow uses the QR-based WhatsApp client. These endpoints do not provide equivalent handling for the official API, Instagram or Facebook.
• The action is Delete for everyone, not Delete for me. The result depends on WhatsApp accepting the request.
