Step by step

   Open the group conversation and its details panel.

   Read the description, member count and administrator labels.

   For groups with more than eight members, search by name or phone.

4. 4

   Select a participant with an available phone number to open a private conversation on the same number.

5. 5

   Use the invite link button to copy the URL, or the group management link to open the selected group in Groups.

What you need to know

• Members whose identifiers have not been resolved to phone numbers cannot open a private conversation. The invite link depends on permissions and WhatsApp's response.
• If the browser blocks clipboard access, a dialog shows the link for manual copying.
