Format, expand and undo draft edits before sending

Step by step

   In Chat or Hub, use *text* for bold, _text_ for italic and ~text~ for strikethrough.

   Check the formatting preview as you type.

   Use Ctrl/Cmd+Z to undo; Ctrl/Cmd+Shift+Z or Ctrl/Cmd+Y to redo.

   When the expand control appears, enlarge the field to review long text and collapse it when done.

What you need to know

• Pasted content becomes plain text; fonts and colors from other apps are not preserved.
• Formatting at the destination depends on the channel. Markers are sent as part of the text.
• Lists continue on a new line; review the next line's marker before sending.
