Review blocked contacts and unblock one
The blocking/silencing record is removed when the operation succeeds.
Step by step
In Chat, open Blocked numbers from conversation options; in Hub, you can also use the top blocked-numbers button.
Check the phone, mode and account number when the list combines multiple connections.
Click Unblock on the correct row and confirm.
If the blocked conversation is open, you can also use Unblock in its header options.
Check your result
The blocking/silencing record is removed when the operation succeeds.
What you need to know
- Unblocking does not recover messages discarded while it was silenced.
- If the number is disconnected, check its WhatsApp blocking state after reconnecting: the local record may be removed even if native unblocking cannot run at that moment.
- Use Cancel in the confirmation to keep the block. Close the list with X or by clicking outside it when finished.
