Select and copy one or several messages
The selected text goes to the clipboard.
Step by step
To copy one text-bearing message, open its menu and choose Copy.
For several messages, choose Select messages or Forward in the menu; on touch devices, you can also hold a message.
Select or deselect messages using the checkboxes.
Click Copy in the selection bar. Use X or Esc to exit selection without copying.
Check your result
The selected text goes to the clipboard.
What you need to know
- For one message, it copies the text. For several, it includes date, time and author in chronological order.
- Media files are not copied as attachments. Items without text do not contribute text content.
